Kiwanis Results for 2012
The Kitchener Musical Society Band was thrilled to earn First Class Honours with Distinction at both the Stratford and Kitchener Kiwanis festivals this year. The honour is particularly special as the quality of community bands in the area is truly outstanding. Congratulations to all bands who participated in two remarkable evenings of music.
We had the additional honour of being selected to submit a recording to the provincial level again this year, and will be working on that shortly.
First Place in Kiwanis Provincial Level Competition
The results of the Kiwanis Music Festival are in and the Kitchener Musical Society Band has placed 1st!
Congratulations to everyone both in the band and those who support the band so tirelessly. The recording is available on our Recordings page, and I must say it's one of the best I've ever been a part of. Really quite a good listen.
Kiwanis Results for 2011
The band had another very successful Kiwanis season this year, earning Gold in Kitchener alongside the Cambridge Band and the Galt Kiltie Band. It was a great evening of band music as evidenced by the Gold results for all three groups.
